1. The forecast is saying that it could get to negative 50 this weekend. That seems so unreal! People were not meant to live here - only polar bears.
2. Why doesn't anyone deliver pizza to my house? It's just not the same going to pick it up. Life is so unfair :)
3. Why don't all 5 of my kids fall asleep at the same time? It sure would make for a more peaceful evening. They seem to take turns sleeping so that I am up a good part of the night.
4. My vacuum cleaner isn't working. This isn't good. I use it once or twice a day. You wouldn't believe the mess on the floor after a day and a half of no vacuuming! I guess I should quit being lazy and find the broom...
5. I'm heading out in the cold weather today, because I have a doctor's appointment. I think I might have pink eye or something. Just what I need :)
Wow, all 5 of my random thoughts are so negative today! Sorry! I guess I just felt like complaining this morning. I promise to get over it :)

4. remove dust container. reach up above container and grasp filter firmly. Twist in couter-clockwise manner until filter is diengaged.
Pull off foam filter sleeve and militantly bash against inner portion of trash can.
Replace filter assembly in reverse order into vacuum cleaner.
There is also a filter on the side that pops out.
Next, remove hose from back of vacuum cleaner. firmly grasp with as many fingers possible, the hair, pencils, pretzels, nieghbor's cat, and anything else stuck in there, and remove in a quick backwards motion.
Replace hose.
liberally apply hand sanitizer to hands, face, arms, and neighbor's cat.
discard trashcan, pencils, pretzels, hair, and neighbor's cat.
Vacuum should work fine.

You are too funny! You would be proud of me (I think). I actually removed the filter and emptied it. I took a screwdriver and removed the bottom part of the hose and stuck a coat hanger through it. I undid the bottom part of the vacuum and checked under it. I am at a loss. I'm not saying it's not working at all, but there isn't the amount of suction that I need :) I'll let you deal with it when you get home!! Maybe it's time for a new one. I know it's only a year or two old, but with how much I use it, you never know!
