Ok, it has officially gotten cold up here. It is negative 33 degrees out today. That is really cold. Everytime I let the dog out to go to the bathroom, he is immediately at the door again ready to come in. It's definitely time to pull the long johns out. It looks like we are going to be staying in the house quite a bit now. I am supposed to be going to a spouse's coffee tonight - we'll see if I make it without being a popsicle :) It could get down as low as negative 40 tonight!!!

It actually doesn't feel as cold as you would think. There isn't any wind and it's really dry out. I went to the spouse's coffee tonight - it was negative 38 out when I got there. I had a coat and gloves on, but no long johns or hat and I was ok outside for a couple of minutes without even really feeling cold. You have to watch out though - don't touch anything metal!! You also have to plug your car in or keep it running or it won't start again :)
