We woke up this morning to actual snow. It's been about 25 degrees all day and snowing on and off. The road in front of our house got really slick and cars were getting stuck. Luckily, someone dropped some gravel and everything seems to be fine now :) The kids got all bundled up in their new long johns, coats, snow boots, mittens, hats etc. and made snow angels in the driveway. Buster was enjoying eating snow off the deck. There isn't much on the ground - maybe half an inch or so, but the weather isn't going to be getting much warmer this week, so it will probably stay....

I can't believe how cold is in Alaska already. And you guys have snow already, too. We're still sitting here in shorts and t-shirts and enjoying summerlike temperatures during the day. I would love to see Alaska some time. But I guess it will be in the months June thru August. ;) I'm not a winter person.
Yes, it's about 19 degrees out this morning and the snow is still falling. It's going to be a long time before we see any warm weather again....
